Taggie Lovies

I can officially cross another item off of my to do list!  Today I decided to take advantage of some down time

(by down time I mean, taking advantage while my 18 month old slept!)and create a lovie.  I know how much my daughter loves her lovie, that I decided it would be a great item to add to my line.  I created a new pattern and decided to make it a taggie lovie.  Kids love to chew on everything and taggies are the perfect addition to this item.   (I will also make one without tags as well).  While this one is not monogrammed, I make all my items custom and can monogram or applique it if a client prefers it.  These make great keepsake

New bib, terry/cotton fabric

I have been thinking more and more about offering some new items. I have a running list in my iPad of items I want to design and create. I find that are not enough hours in the day, but somehow, I manage to find the time.  Most of the time my creative mind just runs wild and my lists get longer and longer.  I tend to not follow patterns and create my own.  My mom says, it's in my genes (coming from a long line of seamstresses and tailors.)

Here are some of the items on my list:

new style diaper pouch
terry cloth bibs
terry cloth/fabric burpees
pillowcases
changing pads
stuffed animals (to match giftsets)
offering items in gift boxes

I did manage to get one this accomplished off of this list. I made a pattern for a new bib. It is for my terry/fabric bib. I wanted to make a bib with a different style to add to my collection.  I made the pattern out of muslin.  (I happen to have a bolt of fabric given to my by my Aunt.  I love this because my Great Aunt Lucy used to use it to make dresses) I have had this bolt for at least 15 years...and I am sure it is much older than that!

New year, New items: Monogrammed Checkbook Holder

Well it's a new year and that means resolutions.  I have been thinking about what I would like to accomplish this year and thought of using this blog to talk about new items that I want to create and share.  One of the first items I wanted to share was my monogrammed checkbook holder.  I always create items for babies, but I wanted to add some things for mom.  So out of those thoughts came the monogrammed check book holder. 

These checkbook covers can be complete custom to match the quilted pocket key chains. 

They are available in two different quilt styles: Stipple (as shown) and diamond.

Summer is here! Applique Beach Towels

Summer is finally here and boy do we have some great items to celebrate!  Are you going on a beach vacation or just hanging by the pool.  If so how about a new applique beach towel.  They are available in blue/white stripe, pink/white stripe, lime/white stripe and orange/white stripe.  They make wonderful summer birthday gifts and you can customize them to each person.  Here are some towels I have embroidered.

Birthday Onesies

I have just finished creating the cutest birthday onesies.  The are both applique onesies for my good friends daughter. She is going to look great in both.  We matched the fabrics and colors to the party themes.  It's a great idea for a birthday outfit.  I have also made birthday shirts in toddler, boys and girls sizes.   They can be done for all ages!!

Diaper Pouch

One of my favorite things to do is creating new items.  I love buying all different and unique kinds of fabric.  I was looking for a new project and decided why not make a diaper pouch. I have had a few diaper pouches since having my first daughter.  I thought was a great new item to add to Little Miss A Designs.  Here are some pics of my latest custom item.   

 Diaper Pouch, holds approximately 3-4 diapers and a wipes case.  Wipes case is not included. 

 Comes with a clip to clip the diaper pouch to a stroller or diaper bag.

The past two months were very exciting. I purchased a new embroidery machine and love it!  I spend most of my time trying out new techniques and styles with it.    Here are some new items:

Personalized applique tees:
I have gotten a lot of requests for personalized tees.  So far the mouse ears are the biggest seller!  Here are some pics.  I also did a great Ballet shoes tee. This would be great for the little ballerina in your life.  Tees are available 12mos -24mos, 2T-4T, as well as girls 4-7, 7-16 and Boys 4-7 and 8-20.

Monogrammed or personalized diaper covers

I am in the process of creating some new items for Little Miss A Designs, I remember one of my favorite gifts that I received after I had my first daughter was a personalized diaper cover for her.  I thought this would be a great add to my collection.  All diaper covers come in white and they can be personalized with a name, monogram or applique.   They make great gifts!

New and exciting items! Applique onesies, infant baby hats and tutu's!

Well the past few weeks have been very exciting for Little Miss A Designs. I have added a new embroidery machine, to accomodate the many growing orders.  I have been working on some new items that I will add to my price list shortly. 

1. Applique Onesie: You can choose any applique and personlize on a onesie.  I did a few of my owl designs and it has been a hit.  The applique onesie will include the applique and the personalization. $18.00 for short sleeve and $20.00 for long sleeve. I have a appliques to choose from, and if you do not see one that you are looking for, let me know! I can get any applique that you need.

2. Baby Hats: If you know already have your name picked out, how about a personalized hat for the hospital.  Hats are available in blue, white and pink.  All hats include personalization on the brim of the hat.

3. I have a three year old daughter who loves wearing tutu's.  She will be starting dancing school in the fall and to get her ready I made her a purple tutu (her favorite color!)  I will also be adding tutu's for baby's as well.  I am going to be making one for my baby girls 1st birthday! Pics for the infant one are soon to follow!

New Items: Applique Bib (reversible), Dual Fabric Burpee & Applique Burpee with Name

I had so much creating my "Abigail" collection. A close friend of mine is expecting her new baby girl in just five short weeks. We cannot wait for her arrival.  I had so much fun creating some new items. I am now adding appliques to all my custom woven bibs, appliques to all burpees and a new dual fabric burpee.  I can do any applique.  I am compiling a list of appliques that I do have, if you do not see what you are looking for them let me know. I would can get any applique that you are looking for.

1. Applique Bib: Add any applique (initial, number or graphic) to any of my custom made bibs. 

2. Dual Fabric Burpee: On the vertical panel burpee, I have added a dual fabric burpee. I used two fabrics on the face of this burpee. I used the same fabrics throughout my entire "Abigail" collection.  

3: Appliques: Appliques can be placed on any bib. I am working on showing all the applique styles that I have.If you don't see something that you are looking for, let me know, as I can get any applique that you are looking for!

Elyse gift set

One of my good friends and sorority sister just had her first baby. I always love giving personal baby gifts.  I decided to make her a giftset.  I made a personalized onesie, matching pants, two burpees and a bib just for her. I knew that her room and colors were purple and green, so I decided to go with purple for her set.  I was so excited that when she received it that she loved it! I cannot wait to see a picture of her in it!  Here are some pics of the giftset.
