Mom-Preneur

What a great couple of weeks it has been for Little Miss A Designs. I wanted to thank all of my family and friends for their support. 

I wanted to take the time to tell everyone a little bit about myself.  For the past decade I have been working in the retail industry in Merchandising.  It all started in New York and then took me to Charlotte, North Carolina.  Fast forward, 10 years and  two beautiful girls later, I have decided to hang up my retail jacket for my mom-preneur jacket.  Last year my husband got offered a great job opportunity which brought us back to New York.  I am now a stay-at-home mom-preneur.  My husband is my greatest supporter and I could not have started this adventure without his love and support.

Sewing and sketching has always been a passion of mine. I received my first sewing machine when I was seven years old from my parents.  I come from a long line of seamstresses and tailors, so sewing comes very natural to me.  I am completely self taught, and learned most from my Great Aunts. I always remember my Great Aunt Lucy making patterns out of paper bags and now I do the same!

Once I had my daughters I realized my favorites gifts that I received were the personalized ones.  At last Little Miss A Designs was born!

What a great week this was for Little Miss A Designs. I was fortunate to have some new orders come in and they kept me very busy.   You will see here that some of my custom bibs are monogrammed.  All bibs can be personalized with a name or monogram.  It was a lot of fun creating these new items.

Child's Apron

Whether your child is a "Top Chef" in Training or a master artist, here is the perfect apron for them.  This apron is available is blue, khaki, bright yellow or red.  The apron below was done for my daughter and is has an owl applique on it.  I have various different appliques: owl, crab, butterfly, lil birdie, turtle, shark, goldfish, paw print, football helmut, baseball and bats, inititals etc....inquire if there is a specific applique that you are looking for. 

Snoopy Bib, Burpee and Binky (Pacifier) Clips Gift Set!

This weekend I attended a fun baby shower for one of my cousins!  I was trying to think of the perfect gift for her and then it came to me,  she loves Snoopy and the Peanuts.  I was lucky to find some Snoopy fabric and I made her a 2 burpees, a bib and a  Binky (pacifier) clip.  Check out the pacifier clip, this is a new addition to my collection.  Pacifier clips can be added to any gift set.

I was asked by a very good friend to make a personalized onesie and burpee.  I love this one!  Most MLB teams do not have cotton fabric, but I am still scouting out other fabric sources to see if they are made!
